HTML clipboardMUMBAI, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally rose 1.48 percent on Tuesday, led by gains in Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) and ICICI Bank (ICBK.BO) on expectations for stronger quarterly earnings.
The 30-share BSE index .BSESN provisionally ended up 240.47 points at 16,454.66, with 27 stocks gaining.
The 50-share NSE index provisionally closed up 1.74 percent at 4,892.50.
